SmoothieBox is not only a great healthy way to start your day, but it is also extremely convenient. Our smoothies can be made in a few minutes with minimal cleanup.
How SmoothieBox Works
The reason we started this company was to help others create a lasting healthy breakfast routine, but it's turned into so much more!
We wanted to make sure building a daily morning habit was as easy as possible, so SmoothieBox members receive a box each month that includes their choice of 20, 25, or 30 pre-portioned frozen smoothie ingredients.
You can also choose to add one of our SmoothieBox boosters to your box. We have a SuperGreens powder, collagen powder, and Vegan and Whey protein powders. Our protein powders come in Vanilla or Chocolate.
The way we see it, that is one smoothie for each morning of the work week. (You can have as much bacon as you want on the weekend, we won’t tell!)
We worked with a nutritionist to develop well-balanced smoothie flavors. SmoothieBox smoothie mixes come in Berry, Chocolate, Strawberry Banana, Green, Orange, and Mango.
Our main priority was to create a smoothie that could serve as a meal alternative – something that would keep you full and give you your daily dose of vegetables while still tasting great.
Members have the option of selecting curated boxes of our most popular flavors or a mix of all six flavors we offer. Members can also build their own box based on their individual needs.
Now comes to the best part: Once you receive your delivery, a SmoothieBox smoothie can be made in minutes.
All you need to do is pour one frozen smoothie mix into a blender, add liquid, blend, and enjoy.
That’s it.
And cleanup is a snap - no grease covered pans or counters littered with ingredients.
The Details
Ordering and Delivery
After you make your order online, your SmoothieBox should arrive between two to 10 days later.
We want to make sure you know when you will be getting your delicious smoothies.
Your order will be delivered by a local carrier service. You will receive an email as soon as your SmoothieBox picked up by the carrier from one of our distribution centers. You will also get an email when your SmoothieBox arrives, which is almost always Tuesday through Saturday.
When you open your first SmoothieBox, you'll find individual cartons of the flavors you chose when ordering. Each carton contains 5 smoothie mixes.
Your SmoothieBox is packed with dry ice to keep your smoothies frozen and ready-to-blend.
If you have dry ice left in your box, do not touch it with your bare hands.
It is best if you can get your smoothies in the freezer as soon as they arrive - which is why we like to share as much tracking information as possible.
Don’t be afraid to ask a friendly neighbor to grab your box for you to help keep it cold if you can’t.
But be prepared to have to share your smoothies with the said neighbor.
Preparation
As we said before, our Smoothie mixes are perfect for a quick breakfast.
To prepare, just pour one frozen smoothie mix into a blender, add a favorite liquid, and blend.
Within a minute or two, your smoothie is done!
Our smoothies taste great with just water, but they are great to customize with different liquids and flavors as well.
If you like your smoothies a bit creamier, you can blend with various milks (almond, whole, cashew or coconut).
Those looking for more protein in a post-workout smoothie can add protein powder or peanut butter, which add some more heft to our Smoothies mixes.
And if a hint of sweetness is what you taste buds crave, you can add bananas, mangos, or blend with a fruit or vegetable juice.
